Yesterday I fully immersed myself into all things festive and travelled up to Birmingham for their annual Christmas market. It was the first time I've ever been to a Christmas market (or Birmingham) and I would definitely go again!
Despite not being able to feel my feet - either due to the freezing temperature or sudden on set diabetes through the sheer amount of sugar and gingerbread everywhere - I had a fantastic time. There were over a 100 stalls full of tiny trinkets, German beer and well some tat.
I managed to get my sister a cute dinosaur necklace for Christmas, because nothing says Christmas like an extinct animal?! I also popped into Selfridges and a few other shops to try and keep in the warm!
